Monsoon Means Extra Efforts

Monsoon Means Extra Efforts

Rainy season is known for bringing happiness in the farmland. It provides water to the thirsty earth. During this season, nature becomes green and lively once again.

But on the other hand, the rainy season brings various kinds of infections and skin diseases as well. Pimples are the major problem during this season. Our skin becomes much oily resulting in a severe acne breakout. Microbes grow rapidly during this season; due to which our body becomes more vulnerable to the infections.

If one follows, following measures this monsoon, acne free skin will not be a very difficult target to achieve. Take care of the following points:

Use anti-acne products

Start by using products that have anti-acne qualities. Bezoyl preoxide based soaps are good for acne prone skin; AcneStar soap and gel will definitely do wonders and add up to your efforts in keeping your skin acne free this monsoon.

Hands off!

Acne may worsen during monsoon season if hygiene is neglected. So, avoid touching the face with your hands, if they aren’t clean. Wash your hands whenever required. Dirty hands may reward you back with acne.

Use a deep cleansing agent

If your skin is oily, cleansing with an astringent is a must. Wipe the face thoroughly with it using cotton wool. Astringents penetrate deep in the skin and remove all traces of dirt and oil, constricting body tissues. Try to ozone clean your skin, every 20 days during monsoon. This will really help you in getting rid of acne.

Healthy diet

You need to keep an eye on your diet as well. Avoid junk food during the rainy season. Oily food and soft drinks tend to make the skin oily in moist conditions. Consume at least three liters of water a day to keep your skin healthy. Add the juice of a lemon to a glass of warm water and have it, the first thing to do every morning. Include fresh fruits, raw salads, sprouts, whole grains and curd in your daily diet.

Little extra efforts will do no harm to you, instead reward you with healthy, clear glowing skin this rainy season. Monsoon is beautiful and so you are! Enjoy rain, eat fresh, live free.
