Keep Your Skin Glowing With These Diet Tips

Read out these diet tips for glowing skin and try to include them strictly in your daily diet routine.


Breakfast is the most important meal of our routine. Morning diet should consist of various nutrients to provide energy to our body for the whole day. So, it is advised that you always have a good breakfast. A happy breakfast is a key to your glowing skin.

Start your day at 7 AM if possible

  • Have a glass of milk (180-200ml) with some cornflakes, muesli, poha, and Bread.
  • Do not forget to include protein in your diet in the form of egg whites, sprouts, cottage cheese or chicken.

Mid day Snack: 11-12 PM

  • Prefer beverages like Lassi, buttermilk, coconut water or lemon water.
  • Do not binge heavily if you are too hungry; instead have a whole fruit or a fruit salad.

Lunch: 1.30-2.30 PM

  • There should be a balance of food when it comes to lunch.
  • Take a portion Of Cereal like Roti or a bowl of rice (Brown Rice)
  • Include fresh green vegetables in your diet as they are great for your body as well as your skin.
  • You cannot afford to miss on protein so eat Dal/Fish/Chicken or Egg.
  • Include a portion of curd.

Evening Snack: 5.30-6.30 PM

  • Some milk/tea
  • 2 biscuits

Dinner: 8-9pm

  • 1 portion of Cereal like Roti/ Rice
  • 1 Portion of protein like Dal/ Chicken/Eggs/ Fish etc.
  • 1 potion of vegetables either in a salad or in the form of a preparation.

Keep these tips in mind to maintain the overall health of your skin:

  • Include protein rich food like Fish/ Chicken/ Eggs.
  • Have leafy Veggies like beans, sprouts, broccoli, celery, spinach etc.
  • Have green tea instead or regular black tea.
  • Have food items like berries, pomegranate, carrots, cucumbers, citrus fruits.
  • Peach juice, watermelon juice is great for skin.
  • Try to do some healthy exercises like yoga to keep your skin happy. This is a perfect addition to the clear skin diet.
