10 Best Tips To Fight With Acne Effectively

We know that fighting acne is not easy but letting them make their way in your life is simply not our style. The theory of eating healthy to stay healthy is not revolutionary: in fact, a simple, healthy diet is not just what keeps our body fit – it is also the key to acne-free skin.

A diet that worked for your friend may not suit you, so it’s you who need to figure out the perfectly healthy balanced diet for your own skin and body. So, here are some of the tips to help you fight acne effectively:

Drink more water

Trust me staying hydrated is the solution to more than 50% of your problems. The human body is 60 percent water, so you need to drink enough water to optimize the physical processes of your body. Often we mistake hunger for thirst, so when in doubt drink water first. Water is the foundation of healthy and clear skin, so aim for approximately 8 glasses of water every day normally, however, the amount of water to be consumed differs greatly person to person.

Cut back on alcohol

Accept it or not but it is a fact that most of the alcoholic drinks are sugary, thus bad for you. Forget your skin - every organ in the body hates alcohol. Always drink lots of water to mitigate alcohol’s effects and try to avoid this poison as long as possible.

Avoid processed foods

All food is “processed” one way or another, so understand that every processed food is not necessarily bad. While doing your grocery shopping, always examine the ingredients and the nutrition labeling of the food item.
Remember, that processed foods tend to contain more sugars, salts, and fats than we need. It may be tough for you to start cooking at home regularly but once you start, you will find it relatively healthy and cheap. After all, good things always come with a price.

Ditch dairy (but keep Greek yogurt or Hung Curd)

Dairy is high in sugar, but dairy is high in nutrients our body love - like calcium and protein, so striking out the dairy completely is not an absolute solution. Keep the intake of the dairy products moderate and avoid whenever possible. Try something which is close to the sugar-free products like Greek yogurt to obtain calcium, protein and probiotics adequately.

Go Green

Regulate your body’s pH by consuming a greater amount of “alkaline foods” and reducing your intake of “acidic” foods because the more vegetables you incorporate into your diet, the clearer your skin and the healthier your body. Beets, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cucumber, kale, lettuce, onions, peas, peppers and spinach are alkaline in nature.

Antioxidant-rich berries

It is a known fact that a diet rich in antioxidants can decrease mild to moderate acne to an extent normally. Try incorporating delicious berries like blackberries, gooseberries and cherries to have that clear glowing skin.

Dark chocolate

Dark chocolate is relatively low in sugar and contains very little to no dairy making it a perfect food to incorporate into your diet. Dark chocolate is also known to contain zinc and other acne-fighting nutrients. Happily, it’s delicious, so eat moderately and treat yourself.

Green Tea

Incorporate green tea into your diet - it’s rich in polyphenols, which increase blood flow and oxygen to the skin, improving its overall look, feel and most importantly, health.
